Love it! 🤣 As a bisexual trans man, I was not aware of just how oppressive I've been to SuperStraight women and SuperGay men as I ~ force myself ~ on them on a daily basis and scream loudly with disrespect at their genital preference, then proceed to crusade and harass them to no end online!
Of course, like the piece itself, what I just wrote was sarcasm.
But for anyone reading who worries about trans people, the actual reality is indeed that...
... We are reasonable, empathetic, polite, calm human beings who listen to and respect others.
This includes clear, productive communication about what does and doesn't work for a prospective partner (e.g., genital preference, which we can talk openly about and respect).
Trans people are not scary bogeypeople. We are not an idealogy. We are not a movement. We are just human beings who want to live quietly as ourselves.
