I write software for a living but enjoy writing here in my spare time.
I've spent my ten-year career (so far) in the Boston startup scene, and I absolutely love being a developer! But I write about social issues and personal stuff, not tech. It's hard to focus on normal passions when whether people like me actually deserve to be alive is actively and unempathetically debated by both real and armchair politicians.
Sounds like a little much, eh?
But I really just want you to know that I'm a human being, and that being transgender and having autism doesn't make me less of one. If you believe these circumstances to be mutually exclusive, I invite you to consider whether you believe in the full humanity of either.
Anyway, I work remotely (if you need a Python backend specialist who can throw together semi-decent APIs and sorta get by with React when the project calls for it, I'm your guy), I'm addicted to long walks, my favorite band is Muse (I've been to 9 shows so far!), I adore springtime in New England, and I love eating sunflower seed butter.
And sometimes, I make art in Google Drawings (it's free, after all)! Here is some of that, just to show off:
- Norman (arguably depicted above)
P.S. - If you're gonna karyotype me, do it properly. That's Queen Norma to you.👑 😘
P.S. II - If you're outside the U.S. and need a full-stack developer with a decade of startup experience, hit me up.
